Los Angeles is the place for shoppers. From household necessities to the trendiest accessories of the world, there is nothing you can’t find in this town. The city is also the largest manufacturing area in the western USA and it attracts the world\u2019s top designers and largest US chain stores. Most have boutiques and shops here. One of the most exclusive shopping streets in the world, Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, is a haven for the shopping elite. Melrose Avenue has shoppers of every ilk and persuasion frothing at the mouth, packed as it is with designer chic boutiques, affordable street fashion, vintage thrift stores, and bargain basement memorabilia. For mall rats, LA has some of the biggest and least-tacky in the country like the three-story Beverly Center where Macy\u2019s and Bloomingdale\u2019s are sandwiched together for the ultimate in indoor shopping. Bargain hunters swarm LA\u2019s Fashion District in downtown. All of this along with the city\u2019s weekend flea markets, second hand furniture stores, thrift stores, department stores, and boutiques, LA is truly a shopper\u2019s paradise.<\/p>\n

In general, most apparel and fashion stores are open from 10am to 8pm, Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm on Sundays.<\/p>\n

Most major grocery stores are open from 6am to 2am 7 days a week, some among them are open 24\/7.<\/p>\n

One of the challenges you may encounter when you go shopping on Melrose Avenue or other streets is the parking. Be mindful of parking signs especially around the residential areas. Some streets only allow residents with permits to park and not visitors. Make sure also to put enough money into the parking meter or your shopping may end up becoming more expensive than you had expected.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
