However, you should also remember that traffic can be a nightmare and ambulances are subject to congestion. Emergency operators, for the most part, don&#8217;t speak fluent English, but many of them will have a very basic understanding of the language, and will usually be able to understand the main ideas &#8212; address, name, etc. Try to speak slowly and succinctly, and be prepared to give the address, at least, in Spanish.
