One of the biggest challenges you may face when bringing your children concerns the crowded and cramped layout of Hong Kong streets. Pushchairs and buggies are highly impractical in some areas, especially in the steep hills of the Mid-Levels, and transporting your child from A to B can present significant challenges. Hong Kong is also very hot and humid and you will need to ensure that your children constantly wear protective sun cream and hats, even on cloudy days as the UV rays can be very strong.

The majority of public entertainment venues and restaurants in Hong Kong are child-friendly and offer baby changing facilities and high chairs. There is also an abundance of public parks and playgrounds that have up-to-date and safe equipment for children. The majority of these parks do not permit dogs so you can be sure that your children can play in a clean environment away from the risk of a boisterous animal. As well as the public areas there are many attractions that suit children of all ages, some of these are listed below for your reference:

Hong Kong Disney World
This Disney park is well suited to children of all ages and offers various rides and attractions as well as an opportunity to meet their favorite characters.
