A token membership fee is charged by most clubs below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Bangalore Expatriate Club or BEC is a social club whose aim is to get professional expatriates networking together in pubs, clubs, restaurants, and social gatherings in Bangalore.<\/li>\n<li>The Overseas Women&#8217;s Club (OWC) of Bangalore (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.owcbangalore.org\/\">http:\/\/www.owcbangalore.org\/<\/a>) is a very active social and charitable organization of women from many nationalities and cultures. OWC greets new members and provides guidance for making a successful transition into a new culture and a new city.<\/li>\n<li>The Bangalore Expat American Dinner Meetup Group is a group of expats (mostly American, though other nationalities are also welcome) who meet regularly for dinners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Clubs frequented by Expats and Well-travelled Indians<\/h3>\n<p>Bangalore has a number of well-to-do clubs, however, they have long waiting lists and getting into some clubs can take years. Popular hangouts include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All Taj, ITC, Park and Oberoi (five-star) hotels feature great restaurants and bars<\/li>\n<li>UB City (on Vittal Mallya Rd) has several high-end shops and restaurants, including Fava, Toscana and Shiro&#8217;s.
